We are thrilled to present our first remarkable collection from world renowned mixed media artist Matt Herring. Focusing on the ideal of female beauty, strength and power, Matt combines ancient and modern by ornamenting his subjects with contemporary elements such as tattoos, alongside Victorian botanical and naturalist illustrations and found objects from the natural world. This juxtaposition of avant-garde technique with vintage materials has led Matt to create artworks which are beautiful, slightly surreal and stylistically unique. Matt’s work is widely collected and has been displayed in venues as diverse as independent galleries, London Underground stations, Bollywood film theatres and the Royal Albert Hall. Commissions have come from the BBC, The National Theatre, Guy Ritchie’s production team and high-end publications including Vogue, Time Magazine and Vanity Fair.
